With over ten years experience in a variety of mental health settings, including community mental health, non-profits, residential treatment centers, and private practice, I deeply understand the flaws of healthcare in the U.S. The work that we do here at Satya Wellness Collective is my commitment to breaking down barriers that limit us from meaningful change and wellbeing, and to transforming mental health as we know it.

Keren Eshed, MA, MBA, 500YTT (She/Her)

Yoga Therapist

I am a Yoga Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey to reconnect with their whole self through the practices of yoga, meditation, breathwork, and yoga philosophy. My approach is grounded in the belief that every individual can access resiliency, sense of empowerment, and their inherent wholeness. I have taught body-centered approaches in various settings, including community spaces, eating disorders treatment centers, support groups, corporate wellness programs, as well as private settings.

Yoga therapy is a holistic healing modality that aims to balance and cultivate physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Previously, while working as a lawyer, I experienced first-hand the therapeutic capacities of yoga and found a new way of being. I followed my heart, left my work as a lawyer, and immersed myself in the practice and study of the yoga traditions. Andrea Ishem, B.A., (She/Her)

I am a Student Intern completing my Masters in Social Work at University of Buffalo, SUNY and working under the supervision of Serena Sherrill, LICSW. In addition, I am a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDP), with over 15 years of experience in mental health and social service positions. Having worked in various settings, from hospitals and clinics, to crisis centers and outreach teams, I have seen successful approaches as well as failed opportunities. I believe many of those failed opportunities were the result of not including people in the decisions made about the care provided to them. It is my goal to provide care and assistance in alignment with my client’s goals and desires.

I believe that by doing inner work and tackling our deepest struggles, fears and pain, we not only have the opportunity to heal but to grow stronger. All of life’s pitfalls and challenges are an opportunity to gain wisdom, stability and empathy for our fellow humans. I believe if you take the time to do the work, you cannot fail. If you need to take a step backwards, it is an opportunity to see things from a different vantage point and move forward with new insight to keep you on your path forward. I believe every person knows what it is that they need to find fulfillment. I am a yoga therapist, holistic health practitioner, and current master’s student in clinical mental health counseling and somatic therapy. I specialize in supporting individuals struggling with their recovery from trauma, particularly those who have experienced childhood trauma, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and spiritual abuse. I take a unique, holistic approach to mental health by supporting the healing of your body, mind, and spirit all at once.

My journey into this work began due to first-hand struggles with misdiagnosed health issues, chronic pain, and trauma, resulting in a deep dive into the power of natural healing. Kelly Lynch, MA, LMHC, ATR (She/Her)

I am a Licenced Mental Health Counselor (LH 61078648), Registered Art Therapist (ATR 19-431), and Clinical Supervisor. Art therapy can provide you with a deeper understanding of yourself. This approach uses art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork as a way to disrupt narratives and increase self-awareness. While Art Therapy does not require previous art experience, it does call for an open mind and authentic experimentation. I offer each of my clients a personalized approach that incorporates creative directives, mindful strategies, emotional exploration, and collaborative experimentation. As an empathetic witness, I strive to increase your self-awareness and sense of agency through cultivating curiosity and balance. In the therapeutic space, I value creativity, authenticity, and a sense of humor. My approach is a good fit for adults and teens that are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma.

Lili Lyne, MA, LMFTA, CTRS (They/Them)

Therapist

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (#MG61371471), working directly under the supervision of Kelly Lynch, LMHC (LH 61078648). As a Narrative and Experiential Therapist, I believe that people experience struggles when the stories placed upon them by society do not actually meet their needs. I collaborate with clients to identify how these conflicts affect them in mind, body, and spirit, and identify the origins of those stories. Using creative means, my therapeutic approach offers to help construct a new story that uplifts their experience and fosters agency. I am trained in systems thinking, meaning that when I work with people, I keep in mind all the relational contexts that accompany them in their beautiful complexities. Before my career as a therapist, I worked with individuals with disabilities, creating social groups for young adults and specializing in adaptive adventure sports. From past research experience, I have extensive knowledge of disability awareness, as well as Adolescent Dating Violence.

My style of counseling is warm, often humorous, strengths-based, and collaborative. I ground my work with identity-affirming and social justice lenses. I am always open to broaching difficult conversations and will do so mindfully in ways that feel empowering to you as a client. I am a student intern completing my Masters in Counseling Psychology at Naropa University and working under the supervision of Deanna Saelee, LMHC. I am expanding into a career in mental health after spending 7 years as a bodyworker. My background in massage therapy, yoga, and energy work has helped me to cultivate a grounded, embodied, and attuned presence that encourages co-regulation and openness. I draw upon various mindfulness-based techniques as well as a deep understanding of trauma healing and attachment theory to co-create a space in which you may access your own innate healing capacity. 

In our sessions I bring warmth, humor, and a genuine interest in your unique being. I trust in your wisdom and ability to grow and evolve. My style of therapy is very relational and rooted in kindness and respect. I am committed to working with clients of all backgrounds and creeds, and I am consistently working on dismantling internalized systems of oppression and becoming more conscious of my own blind spots and biases. My sincere hope is for all humans everywhere to experience empowerment and self-actualization so that we may all get free together.

I believe people are resilient and have the ability to heal with the right tools and support. I have had the privilege to work with a variety of different populations from infants to older adults. At a young age, I was drawn to help and support people in varying capacities. Many of the career assessments I took would encourage me to consider Social Work. With the honor of shadowing others in the community and researching what social work entailed, I shifted from the medical profession into the social work profession.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH 60493219) and Clinical Supervisor. My work is rooted in the belief that our families, culture, and life experiences shape us to be who we are today. I am always fascinated when individuals share their stories, as no story is the same. The common theme I see in all these stories are human connection. For me, I struggled a lot when I moved from Japan to Spokane, WA. It was scary to be in a new place as a child. As I began searching for different places to attend graduate school, I decided to embark on my journey to beautiful Seattle, WA. Here i was able to find diverse communities, including a strong Japanese community, which provided me the opportunity to feel connected to my cultural identity again. I truly believe in the importance of celebrating our unique cultural identities because it gives us a positive sense of belonging and connectedness.

My clinical experience include providing therapy services to children, youth, and families in underserved communities. Most of my training has focused on working with individuals who have experienced dating and sexual violence. I have also had the opportunity to do prevention work with adolescents around healthy relationships. I am experienced in helping individuals heal in the areas of trauma and abuse, relationships, stress management, self-esteem, cultural identity and life transitions.

If I were an animal, I would be a: Sea Turtle: They are the sweetest! Grounded in mind, but the ocean is home. They are steady and nourish peace and harmony with the environment. They are patient and highly adaptable, while emotionally empathic. Sometimes you can find them floating solo or enjoying life in the pack.

What makes me human? Morning rituals, often involving coffee, pug snuggles, and hitting that snooze button several times. Using my phone calculator to figure out how to tip. Listening to electronic music while driving barefoot.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist (#61086142), I have the privilege of meeting people where they are. My priority is that my clients feel seen, heard and known as they share a part of their life with me. I view people from a holistic perspective where I value what is occurring biologically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. I specialize in couples that feel stuck in their relationship and individual adults dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, parenting, and life transitions. I see people through the lens of attachment theory, which reminds us that humans are wired for connection. I believe we are not meant to go through life alone and that secure and positive attachment is a universal necessity. My goal is to help my clients express these needs in a clear and honest way to both themselves and to the people in their lives, with the hope of better emotional engagement and more secure attachment. After our sessions, I want my clients to feel validated and supported as they continue on their journey towards healing. My hope is to empower you, while striving to create a safe place where you can experience change and cultivate a sense of freedom to be yourself.

What makes me human? My inability to recall song lyrics correctly but to sing the song anyways, my terrible parallel parking skills, as well as my love to clean my house to de-stress.
